Who should start up front for Leicester City at Bournemouth?

Jack Johnson: Daka

After his goal on Monday, I think Patson Daka should get the nod for the Bournemouth game and onwards.

He was brilliant after coming on against Forest and linked up well with the attack, providing pressure from up front when not on the ball.

This means benching Jamie Vardy which of course is going to hurt. But he's been a shadow of his former self recently and he's no longer offering anything on the pitch. His link-up play has been poor and he very rarely makes runs in behind which used to be his trademark asset.

Fresh blood in Daka is now the best option to start games and if he hits scoring form I don't think there's any stopping him. Vardy will still be a great option off the bench and for now, I think he'll be better off as an impact sub.

Helen Thompson: Vardy

My heart says Jamie Vardy.

He may not have changed his goalscoring fortune against Forest but he played his part.

Whether it was creating space for other players to move into, or simply holding defenders' attention, we scored three goals while he was on the pitch. Notching up an assist for the Harvey Barnes goal (of the match) doesn't go amiss either. Logic says if we are playing more confidently, it should only be a matter of time until he starts burying his chances again.

That being said, Daka's goal was absolute filth and his one-two play to set it up with Maddison impressed. We have to find a way to start integrating him more to prepare him to be the future, but there's still a way to utilise Vardy and get the best out of Daka.

I would suggest using Kelechi Iheanacho in some form, but right now I'm unsure what Brendan's plan for him is and it seems unlikely we'd change our shape too much given Monday's result.

David Bevan: Daka

I’d go with Daka. Vardy’s all-round play is still a little stronger - as evidenced by his part in the second goal, peeling off the defender and stretching the pitch so there was space for our other attacking players to run into and force Forest onto the back foot.

I’m almost convincing myself writing that sentence, but Daka just looks so sharp at the moment. The evidence in his favour from Monday night is obvious.

It’s going to be tougher on Saturday. We might only get one or two clear chances. At the moment, I’d want Daka on the end of them.

Jordan Halford: Vardy

To be honest, I don't see any reason to change the side from Monday.

I think possibly the only negative from the performance was that Vardy didn't open his account for the season but I'm confident once he gets off the mark, he'll get double figures again this season.

Obviously, James Maddison has been our most dangerous player going forward and he looks very dangerous cutting inside from the right, plus Harvey Barnes was a threat on the other side. Daka took his goal really well and hopefully if he's breathing down Vardy's neck for a start it will push him on to get back in the goals.

The old adage is never change a winning side and after chopping and changing so far this season it would be nice to see a consistent and settled 11.

James Knight: Daka

Daka. We have three good strikers now. Go with the hot hand. As soon as Vardy gets one, start him until the effect wears off. Rinse and repeat.

Poor Vards is probably desperate for the goal bonus these days though.

Iain Wright: Vardy

Still Vardy. His movement was excellent on Monday and he pressed and chased as he always used to. The goals will come, no worries there. But, like on Monday, Vardy for an hour. Let him ‘do an Okazaki’ for 60 minutes without the worry of pacing himself for the full 90.

I was in favour of him dropping out for a few games and, looking at Monday's performance, that seems to have helped him. Hopefully his head is in the right place now and can do what he does best.

Becky Taylor: Daka or Vardy and maybe Iheanacho

Daka has definitely given a good case to start after his cameo against Forest.

He does deserve it, but I'll never be against Vardy starting. Even if he had one leg he'd put the fear into defenders’ heads.

I am always calling for Kelechi Iheanacho to start. I love him, his madness and his stats, so I'd personally love finding a way to get us playing 2 up front - Kel and Vards or Patson. Being realistic, I think it'll be one of Daka or Vards and I'm ok with that.
